Xfirm is an easy to use forms utility that creates custom X Window Systemforms with Motif style from simple edit filers. Xfirm performs all X11and Motif call so that no programming knowledge of X11/Motif are needed.The Xfirm subroutine library support C or other high level programminglanguages. The form is defined by a simple WYSIWYG text file created byany editor. The subroutine library consists of simple form managementroutines to display the forms, read or write fields, await user action,display messages, and alter certain field attributes. The routinesperform all the X and Motif actions, hidden from the Xfirm programmer,making X window forms programming direct and simple.
